Your Voice in Lansing

Protecting your profession. Advocating for your future.

MiLPCs is a new advocacy organization created to support and protect Michigan’s LPCs and LLPCs. Led by trusted professionals with decades of experience, we work directly with lawmakers, monitor policy changes, and ensure that your ability to earn a living is never left to chance.

Why MichiganLPCs Exists

We’re counselors, just like you.
We know what it’s like to do the work, serve clients, and worry about shifting legislation that could compromise our license or livelihood. That’s why we formed MiLPCs: an organization dedicated to give Michigan counselors a united voice in Lansing.

What We Do:

  • Attend and testify at state legislative hearings
  • Submit official policy recommendations
  • Provide updates on proposed laws and their impact
  • Build lasting relationships with key decision-makers
  • Mobilize counselors when collective action is needed

We’re watching the legislation, so you can focus on your clients.
